Flor Essence

The story of Flor Essance is the story of the love child of Elaine Alexander and Dr Charles Brusch motivated mainly by money.

Elaine Alexander was a tv presenterinCanada. She knew the story of Rene Caissse was a big story as was and is the global problem of ever increasing numbr of new cancer patients and cancer deaths. It was more than 20 years since President Nixon and the Medical Industry had declared a "War on Cancer", and formed the National Cancer instute with huge amounts of money, to find their promised cure for cancer. So with the story of Caisse and her success over many years, she was right on the money for a top story which affected so many people in Canada, North America, in fact globally. So who could be more important a guest for the subjetc than the doctor who had worked with Nurse Caisse in the 1960's Dr Brusch.

Dr Charles A. Brusch M.D. of the BRUSCH MEDICAL ASSOCIATES. INC of Cambridge, Massachusetts was a highly respected practioner. He had been the physician for John Fitzgerald Kennedy before he became President of the USA in 1961. Further in 1959 Some of Dr Brusch's doctors including Dr Pappas, Dr Wood and Dr Konefal did some trials with Essiac which Nurse Caisse had supplied the Brusch Clinic. When asked about the tea later on Dr Brusch (speaking politically for his industry) said that He couldn't say it was a cure but had merrit in helping people with cancer.

So Dr Brusche was an obvious guest for Elaine Alexander and her hot topic. The program obviously worked well. People wanted to know what was in the formula and there was great interest. Where could they buy the tea? Who sold it? This was a big boost for Elaine, she saw a huge market of sufferes looking for anything that would could help them, because the doctors still weren't.

Dr Brusch also had reason to be interested. His son Dr Brusch Jr had taken over his clinic, and it was doing very badly financially. He was going broke and Dr Brusch Sr, saw his financial security in his retirement collapsing around him. He needed mony to survive!

So along with the biggest herbal supplier, oridinally an old German company that was no well established in Canada named FLOR came to the part and the result was Flor Essence. It did not have 4 ingredients, if had 8, and some of them have major problems if you take too much. But it was not Essiac because Caisse had never given the formula to Dr Busch. In fact if Dr Brusch was last given some in 1976/7 to treat McGrail whose story is on this site McGrail.html. This was written about in the magazine Homemaker under the title Could Essiac Holt Cancer Sheila Snow spent a lot of time with Caisse to write the article and also to find a solution to the likely conclusion the formula for Essiac may die with her. Sheila tried to set up a trust in 1977 with Rene leaving the formula to the trust after her death. Se refused the concept. then she tried to bring Brusch into the trust as someone Caiise may trust. Her is what she wrote.A few days later, she called to report that although Dr. Brusch had told her his son would be glad to sit on the trust as her adviser, she still would not sign or turn her formula over to the lawyer so he could start working on a patent.

Finally Caisse sold the formula to Resperin. The contract is witnesses byr Dr Charles Brusch. I have a copy of the formula with his name and signature on it. The agreement says she had never given the formula to any other person. Dr brusch saw it an witnessed it.

Flor essence was never Caisse's formula, but Elaine Alexander promoting it as such was threatened with legal action from Resperin if she did not decease. It is interesting the Flor essence formula had 8 herbs and 4 of them were taken from the Gary Glum formula published some years earlier.

The Flor company still promote Flor Essence around the world, and it is possible some benefit is gained from the tea in some cases. After it has most of the 4 herbs in their 8 herb formula. Just don't use the tea with the volumes I use or cancer will not be your biggest problem.

Vengerce from above? Elaine Alexander died from cancer in the 1990's.
