It is very important for everyone who wants to get results from their tea receive the best ingredients, preparation and usage advice.
The first point I wish to make is about Rene Caisse the founder of Essiac. Anyone who doubts she was anything but a very honourable, honest nurse, probably knows nothing about her. For years she treated terminal cancer sufferers for free and up to 600 people a week. She turned down an offer for a million dollars for her formula, as she didn't know about the motives of the buyer. She refused to sell the formula to Dr Charles Brusch or his son as she was not satisfied with their motives. But she did sell it to The Resperin Corp. 26th Oct. 1977. Now I know there are many thoughts about their subsequent relationship and what Resperin did with the formula. To me that is no longer relevant. What we do know is that Rene Caisse signed an agreement with Resperin and Dr Charles Brusch witnesses the agreement. I have a copy of that agreement which I received when I signed an "Exclusive Distributor Agreement, 30th March 1993."

I know a lot of people have come along and claim this is not true, Rene Caisse lied and they know all about the formula. You can make your own conclusion, but to me it is simple. I believe 100% that Rene Caisse was being honest with this legal document which was witnessed by Dr Charles Brusch.
I read Mary MacPherson an expatient of Caisse, as was her husband and mother, says Caisse told her the formula, and she sold it to Gary Glum for $125,000, and that Sheila Snow who wrote the article called "Could Essiac Cure Cancer" after longinterviews with Caisse in her final years, tried to get Caisse to sell the formula to Dr Brusch, and when she was unsuccessful wrote she was worried the formula would never be released and lost to humanity. Well she has changed her tune in recent years and with Marli Klein did a lot of videos and books about Essiac. Klein is the expert whose husband died from cancer. That is why she knows more about it than anything else. I would like to see the cases she worked on, and the results she achieved, how serious they were and what their diagnosis and prognosis was. This is something I would expect of anyone who is supporting Essiac.
What interests me is all the people I have mentioned in the above paragraph have used different herbs to those Rene Caisse sold as the original ingredients in her treatmant. If you want to be sure the tea has the right ingredients, there is one that most get wrong. Look for Indian Rhubarb (Rheum officinali). Most use Turkey Rhubarb(Rheum palmatum) as listed in Gary Glum's formula.
I notice the recommendation in their formula is to remove a mould/fungus ball if it forms in the tea. I have never seen on in my tea, after 20+ years. They spend a lot of time sterilising their tea utensils etc, and I am amazed they think it is safe to just pull out the ball and carry on with the tea. Would you consume anything which grew mould or fungus after being kept in your refrigerator?

Caisse did most of her treatments before the SV40 cancer causing virus given to millions in Dr Hilleman's Polio vaccine which in part caused the Cancer epidemic we have been having for half a century. Now we have a much greater problem and need a stronger approach to boosting our immune system. Because of this I have found by experience we need to use much stronger doses and much bigger doses than are currently suggest by the majority off suppliers. Under the heading "Usage" I point out and support with examples the use of more than 30 times what most people are advised online or by suppliers, but with the right herbs and best quality. You can't do this with formulas that have extra (More than 4) or incorrect (eg Indian Rhubarb) herbs.
Because so many people have jumped on the bandwagon and many market a product because Essiac has developed a reputation globally, so they want to make money out of others pain and suffering. I market CanTea as an immune boosting herbal tea, using the Caisse/Resperin herbs and the preparation I saw Caisse use in her Video and use the volumes we have found best for the current conditions for the thousands of users we have talked to over the past 23 years.
