Mr Higgs had a growth appear on his neck some years ago.

Despite the best efforts of the doctors the diagnosis was carcinoma of unknown origin.

The secondary tumour on the neck was treated with surgery and radiation, but being a rampant variety soon reoccurred.

More of the same treatment was given, and at regular intervals whenever it appeared.

As with most cancer treatments this was only a temporary way of addressing his problem. In fact there was never any treatment for the source of his cancer as the doctors could not find its origin.

1996
The repeating of surgery and radiation had the effect of reducing the amount of flesh in the area considerably. So much so that eventually Mr H was told there was no further opportunity for either surgery or radiation. His neck area had been reduced to half its original size.

Mr Higgs was told by his doctor that they would offer him whatever support they could but treatment was not an option.

Mr Higgs was given an appointment for a months time and told he would need to have regular monthly checks. He was told he did not have very long to live, a month possible a few months..

It was at this time that Mr Hidds heard about the tea and started using it immediately.

At the end of the month he had his first visit and the doctor was surprised to see how well he looked. He was told to return in a month.

The next appointment the doctor was even more surprised that there was no sign of a reoccurrence, and the month after that was more amazed. The appointments continued monthly. However although he was completely baffled that over a six month period his monthly appointments had not revealed any growths, he still wanted to see him monthly confident it would happen very soon and when it did it would all be over very quick.

Mr H was really feeling well. He was amazing the doctors but they were not interested in why, and any suggestion that he was benefitting from a herbal product drew a wry knowing smile. I guess not being a doctor he knew nothing about saving lives from cancer anyway.

So the monthly appointments continued and the time was going to come when his bubble burst and the herbal tea (snicker) was not really doing anything because they knew better.

So for the second year Mr H had to take himself down to the doctor for a check-up every month. Still nothing went wrong. Still no growth.

Had the cancer gone? Who knows. Until the source is known there is no way of knowing if it has gone.

Then there was a break-through. More than 2 years after monthly appointments Mr H was told that he could possibly start to extend to 3 monthly appointments. What a relief. No explanation was given for this but possibly the doctor felt he was less likely to need any urgent treatment after so long.

2000

Mr Higgs started the tea in 1996. I remember well when he started using the tea.

It is now 2000, 4 years later. Mr Higgs still sees the doctor but is now 6 monthly. He still has his many pints of beer every week. He was not prepared to give that up for a few extra days, but obviously it has not harmed him.

He still has the tea too, though only smaller top-up dose.

He believes he has probably recovered. It is just a shame he had to have all that radiation and have more than half his neck removed before he found the solution.

He still goes to work every day, and leads a normal life 4 years after his life should have been cut short with Squamous Cell Carcinoma Metastic to Cervical Node of unknown Origin.
